This project reconstructed and widened 8 miles of U.S. MDOT was awarded the Engineering Excellence Grand Award for the U.S. The Engineering Excellence Awards competition honors engineering firms for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and ingenuity. The Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) received three Engineering Excellence Awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Mississippi at their Annual Assembly held March 23-24, 2023, in Madison.
